Creado en 2016, MFFF es un festival de fashion film completo que exhibe largometrajes, documentales, conferencias, actuaciones e instalaciones.
El diseño del logotipo se realizo creando un letragrama de las siglas del festival a partir de la tipografía que diseño Giambattista Bodoni en 1767. Es sencillo, elegante y es inclusivo a cualquier representación artistica de fashion.
“Desde sus inicios el cine siempre ha estado altamente relacionado con la moda, ambas industrias materializan sueños. En el cine, la moda termina de dar sentido a todo el concepto que se quiere lograr, mientras que la moda encuentra en el cine múltiples inspiraciones, desde musas hasta conceptos profundos. Los fashion films son, en su mayoría, cortos con mensajes estéticos precisos con una gran inmediatez social. Mexico Fashion Film Festival es una plataforma que impulsa y dan a conocer el gran potencial que existe cuando las artes visuales y la moda en México y América Latina se unen.“
